A technology upgrade and the dedicated support to go with it

Lodging Hospitality Management (LHM), with 19 properties in greater St. Louis and Southern Illinois, was an existing HSM customer taking advantage of our Sysco Pricing Program. However, they realized that their manual purchase order process was antiquated and inefficient. Identifying a need to take a deeper dive into the purchasing program services offered by HSM, this hospitality management group found not only a boost to their business, but also a depth of support that exceeded expectations.

HSM onboarded LHM to the BirchStreet eProcurement platform, which proved to be a tremendous upgrade from their manual purchase order process. After a brief trial of the software at one property, the system – complete with on-site training and support – was successfully launched at the other 18 properties within one month.HSM soon became the purchasing arm for all LHM needs. Using BirchStreet eProcurement for all purchase orders, they now have digital, real-time access to checkbook balances, approvals and invoices. The companies quickly became closely-connected partners, with weekly scheduled calls and discussions of ongoing projects, new builds and renovations.
