With 19 properties in their portfolio in the St. Louis area and Southern Illinois, Lodging Hospitality Management (LHM) was already an HSM customer, taking advantage of our Sysco Pricing Program for years. However, their manual purchase order process was antiquated and inefficient. In October 2015, they identified a need to take a closer look at what HSM could offer from a purchasing perspective, and they saw that HSM could offer a lot.
LHM found the BirchStreet eProcurement platform to be a tremendous upgrade from their manual purchase order process. After a brief trial of the software at one property, the system – complete with on-site training and support – was successfully launched at the other 18 properties within one month.
HSM soon became the purchasing arm for all LHM needs. Using BirchStreet eProcurement for all purchase orders, they have access to checkbook balances, approvals and invoices. The companies have become great partners in a short period of time, with weekly scheduled calls and discussions of ongoing projects, new builds and renovations.
HSM provides LHM everything we've expected, and we appreciate the hands-on service and all their capabilities. We just didn’t realize before all that HSM had to offer.
